i really like this picture because the sun between two trees makes beautiful shadow on the ground, maby the wide angle lens makes this picture has a little bit distortion, but thats the way makes pictures have perspective. i dont like the green dot in the middle.. maybe the lens doesn't have a extralow dispersion glass or what ever the reason is....alright..the info:

This picture of the clock tower was taken at Fanuel Hall in Boston. I liked the shadows that it casted from the lighting. I also liked how the background was complete darkness, which made it have more contrast.

this is a picture of the sunset over callahan state park. I like the colors, but i feel that it would be better if taken about 15 minutes earlier, when the texture of the woods could be seen more easily. oh well. this was taken at sunset with no flash, no zoom.

i really like the color of these leaves, and i took this photo in Boston. I think this photo has a very good focus.

Chan_ Misc.

This is some sort of pellet lodged in between the layers of bark on a tree. I like this photo because i like the way the white stands out from the grey and brown of the tree. I also like how the almost perfectly round shape makes it stand out from the irregular lines of the tree. If i could redo this, i would try to get closer up on the pellet. this was taken outdoors without flash

I took this picture because I thought it was very interesting that it was the only bloom on all of my mom's rose bushes. I like this picture because the way the pink stands out in all the other neutral colors really makes it pop. I took this outside, in natural light, no flash.

I took this picture at the beach with zoom on Sunday, 10/23/11. I used natural light even though it was cloudy out and not sunny at all. I zoomed up very far and I was not actually stanidng very close to the bird.

Contrasting Silhouette

I like this picture because I like how it is like the opposite of a silhouette. I like the sharpness of the lightbulb and the warmth of the light and how it shows the detail of the ceiling. I also like the ring of the light on the ceiling and how the bulb is in the center of it.

Warzewska_fog

I took this photo on the morning that it was very foggy. I like how the background fades behind the fog, making the foreground stand out more. Some parts of the photo are a little distracting, like the floating stick in the middle. If I could change something, I would move to the right a little to include more of the pine tree. I also don't like how parts of the photo are not in focus.

Delmoral_Touching_the_Sky

I love this picture because first of all, I love Boston. Second of all, I think its really cool how the John Hancock looks like its part of the sky. This building is the main focus of the picture. It was sort of a cloudy day so it looks a little dark. This picture was taken indoors from a building in the Mass Art campus, through a window, and without flash.

I took this photo with a ceiling light on, with no flash. It is a picture of my ceiling. I took this photo at an angle to catch the shadows and texture of the ceiling. By doing this i hoped to add movement to the picture.

This is the pumkin i carved a few weeks ago. I like this picure because it is in focus, you can even see the small bumps on the pumkins face. you can also see the light shinign through the carved parts. This picture was taken indoors with out flash using only natural light.
