This is from the Color portraits project. I adjusted the saturation of the color. I like the softness of the photo and how the colors on her shirt still stand out and show a lot of detail.

Rabinowitz_Ducks

This is a photo I had taken last weekend at one of the docks near Boston harbor. The bright green color of the duck's head caught my eye. I also thought the ripples in the water from the ducks motion added flow to this picture. I used a flash because it was in the late afternoon.

This is a picture I took of water that i froze then shaped into a sphere. I dont like the shiny parts where the light hit the melting parts of the ice, but overall the picture is not bad.

This is a picture of a plane hanging from a store's ceiling. I thought it was so cool and I just loved the red above and that it would all make an interesting photo.

Chan_Misc

This is another flower that is just blooming in my yard. I like this because of how big the flower looks. Also, I really like the color in the photo. If i could have changed something, i would like to have the flower be in better focus. Also, some of the blades of grass in the bottom of the photo are distracting.

This is a picture I took at the nature club outing on friday. I like the colors and the way the background goes on for so long. this was taken on an overcast day at noon (not on the macro setting).

Warzewska_Summer Haze

I took this photo on Friday when the weather was really nice. (Outdoors, no flash) I like how the photo is a little bit hazy because it adds to the "summer" feel of the photo. I also like how the shadows flow toward the girl, elongating the photo. If I could have changed something, I would have cropped out the upper right hand corner.

I took this photo at my cousins house last week. I liked how in focus the fake flower was and how out of focus the window was. I like how the window looks very old and how center the flower is in the picture. I also like how the flower is at a bit of an angle.

I took this photo for my macro/micro Marian project. It is an ornement I found in Ms. Schmidt's room. I really like this picture because I like how the stars are lined up and I like the reflection in it. I like how the main focus is on the star in front and the star in the back is softer.

I took this photo while taking pictures of Marlborough. I like how the sum makes some of the black metal look blue, and the long angle of the shadows. taken outdoors, without flash during sunset.

This is a picture I took this weekend in the North End of the Paul Revere Monument. I liked how the trees in the background gives more depth to the picture. I decided to use my flash because it was late afternoon and the statue was in a shaded area between buildings.

I took this photo yesterday in Northeastern University's international village. I would love this overlook, i think it is a good angle to take photo. House there as rows of soldiers lined up,one out,a near row,countless more.

Bache_Sheet of Paper

I took this photo after school in Mr. Gilligan's room. I liked how this picture created somewhat of an illusion, the way the lines appeared to curve and the width between the lines appeared to get wider.

McGarry_litter

This is a picture I took while I was biking home from church. I saw the empty carton lying there, and I thought it would make for an alright picture. This was taken at midday with no flash.

old truck_jules

I edited this picture by fading the color and adding a little bit of a warm tint to it. I like how it makes the picture look kinda "run down". I also like the crisp details on the truck and the flow of the picture. This was taken on macro with out the flash.

Warzewska_Red Spoon

I took this photo a couple of days ago on my phone, indoors with natural lighting. I really like the contrast between the red spoon and the white cup. I also like how the spoon is crisp and in focus, while the cup is slightly out of focus. I think that the background blends in too much with the cup and that it is a little bit overexposed.

Reitter_Clock

This is a photo I took of a clock tower in Lowell. I like this photo because you can see good detail in the stone. The lighting is okay because it was taken during sunset. A slight glare of the sun is in the clock, which adds a lot to the photo and does not make it so boring. The only thing I would change would be croping out the sky to the left of the tower.
