Winter blues

Taken in natural light, in regular settings, caught these on that random snow storm day

portrait.

I took this portrait at school one day, then i converted it to black and white. I like the light in it and the highlights in his eye.

Misc Portrait

This was one of the portraits from my portrait project. I really liked the highlights in her eyes, and that she's not looking at the camera. The backround created depth and I like that she's on the side of the frame.

puddle

I took this one afternoon while it was raining out. I liked how you could see the splash that a raindrop made after hitting the puddle.

moon/stars misc.

i took both of these photos a couple nights ago. i used my zoom lens and tripod. for the photo of the stars, i set my camera on a 30 second exposure to catch the movement of the stars.

Icy Branch

I took this picture about a week ago on a cloudy day, in macro setting on my camera. I like how only one branch is in focus and how the rest of the branches are blurred. I also like how the lighting works and glistens on the ice.

flower

this photo was taken in the school library. i used marco to focus in on the peices coming out of the flower.

Vase of flowers

I took this picture in my living room. The flowers were next to a window. I was playing with the settings on my camera and i thought this one looked really cool.

Moment before

I took this in the car moments before it started to rain. I like how angry the clouds look. I took it on automatic but I might want to change it to black and white if I were to submit it as an assignment.
