from darkness to light
I chose this picture because this is not what the sky actually looked like at the time at which i took the picture. I played around with the white balance and ISO settings. In a series of shots that I took of the same area, this one was the only one with a harsh darkness on the left and the bright white gap. This picture is somewhat subtle due to its coloration of: black, grey, blue and white, however it is a captivating photo because its varying hues and the contrast.

NYC
This picture was taken in New York City of times square. I used f/2.7 and 1/30 shutter speed. I really like the depth in the picture becasue it starts at the orange sign and goes far down into times square. It almost looks like no people are in times square, which i thought was kind of interesting. =)
Film
I enjoy this picture because it's interesting and kind of perplexing. My film camera is so old crappy so whenever I get my film developed, the people who worked on it always complain about the film getting stuck in canister. In ninety percent of my rolls, there's at least one photo where the next photograph overlaps into the next one, such as this. I really like how this looks, and i think the way the left image is incredibly over exposed plays off well with the right image that's kind of ruined from my camera.
