Yifan_misc
I took this photo in Newbury Street in Saturday afternoon (about 3 or 4 o'clock). I like this photo because the sky was still bright so that we could see the sunlight, and there were some clouds. When I took this photo, I held my carema upwards so the church looked bigger, and also the whole photo looked darker.
Khan_Sunrise
I took this photo over vacation on a cruise. This is what the view from our window looked like. I like this photo because of the colors and how they contrast very well with each other. The only thing I would change is the reflection, since I took it from a window.
Snowy trees_Burnham
I took this photo a few days after a big snowstorm. I really like how the photo is of many trees but is mainly focused on the one tree in the center. I like how the tree catches your eye and becomes the main focus of the photo but does not take away from the rest of the photo.
Santos_Glass
I took this image a while ago of a glass window while it was raining. This picture is very interesting because it is lighter on the top and gets darker while you look down. Since I wasn't using a tripod I had to try my hardest to not cut off the diamond shape, but I still ended up cutting it and if I could change that about the picture I would.
Parker_Misc
I took this picture through glass when the snow melted and became water on the glass. I like this picture because the water droplets creates shapes that looks cool and and the color scheme works altogether. I like how the shadows are facing to the overexposed spot on the picture.
Correia_Misc
This is a photo I took a while ago of my dads Waterford clock. I chose this photo because I really like how by tilting the camera to the side a little bit it appeals to the viewers eye more. I put it in black and white because the the original photo had to many of the same colors and it all blend in together. By making it black and white its bring the color of the crystals in the clock out more.
Warr_Beach
I took this photo last week on Orient Beach in St. Maarten. It is said to be the best beach in the Caribbean. I like it because of all the different shades of blue. I also really like the color of the water. This was one of my favorite pictures that I took while on vacation.
james-leaves
I took this photo in my backyard back in October. The first photo is the original and the second is the edited photo. I really like this photo. The thing that sticks out to me the most is the color of the leaves in the second photo. I also like how the leaves blend in with the color of the grass.
Brossi_Mud
This was one of my nature photos. I thought this photo was interesting because there is ice and mud mixed with green grass. Usually, the ground is either completely ice and snow or completely green grass. I thought the contrast gave the photo a lot of texture and depth. I took this with no flash and natural lighting.
Alex_Porsche 928
I decided to choose this photo of a Porsche 928 which I took in late September because I think it is one of my best photo I took of this Porsche car. I like the lighting which isn't too overexposed, the shadows, variety of color, and the point of view. I also like that the car is almost completely not overexposed to too much sunlight. The fact this car was an amazing sports car of the late 1970s to the early 1990s when it was succeeded by the new 1990s 911 turbo. This is definitely a cool sports car, thats why I decided to choose this photo. I also like that there are a few reflective sections to this car which makes this photo look interesting. Lastly I like contrast of color between the parking lot asphalt to the dark black coating to the car gives this photo a nice contrast. I took this photo with auto white balance adjustments, macro, auto iso settings, auto adjustment settings, and without flash. I tried to take this ohoto with smallest amounts of overexposure as possible.
Dilbarian_snow
I took this photo last week in the snow. The picture is of my house door mat a pile of snow. I really like the designs on the door mat, that is why i took a picture of it. I like how the black and white really compliment each other and make each other more vibrant and vivid. I also like the angle that i took the photo at straight on. But i like the way i took it so that it was toward the side. The only thing i would change about the picture is the couple of pine needles that are in the picture.
Bubello_Misc
I took this photo in Concord, without flash. I took this photo while I was shooting for my editorial/street project. I really liked the perspective that I took this photo from because I feel that it made this photo unique. I also really liked the way this building looked and the way I was able to capture it in this photo. I chose to change this photo to a black and white photo because I believe it made the photo much more interesting.
Sara_ fresh snow
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago when it was snowing. I really like the angle of this photo and its depth of field. I also really like the way the snow is mounted and piled on top of the branches. If i could change this photo i would try to eliminate the negative space.
Teddy_Notre Dame de Montreal
I took this photo when I was in Montreal during the Canada trip in November. I took this photo before we went into the Cathedral in the mid afternoon. I really like the angle that I took this photo it makes it look very interesting and very architecturally shot by the upwards photo shot. I also like it how bright blue the sky was and the other colors in the photo. The sun reflecting only in the center of the Cathedral during the afternoon also makes the photo very interesting to the viewer. I chose this photo because it was one of the most interesting photos that I took when I was in Montreal.
