Fair_Birds Eye View

I like the way the small yellow flowers contrast against the water. I like that this photo has a variety of textures in it, (the rippling water, the plant life and the sharp rock) I took this picture from a high bridge and I like that I was able to include a lot in it, and get a different perspective.

Cha_Yeonsei University

This is the picture when I was in Korea, while I was on college tour in Korea. This school is the second-ranked school in Korea. I like this photo because it has very good balanced-expolsion; furthermore I believe the focusing on this picture is quite crispy. However, there are some failure: first, it seems the left side of the school is little bit tilted, and second, it would be better if people behind the tree were not there.

Reichart_ Assisi

I took this on the landscape setting around the middle of the day when the sun was at its highest. I like this picture because the mountains in the background are nice and I like the arches in the walkway with the people around because its a captured moment that brings me right back.

Brossi_Strawberries

I took a picture of these strawberries in the morning when the sun was bright. I like how the reflection of the sun can be seen in the distance behind the strawberries, and how some of the light reflects off of the white part of them and makes them look shiny. I like how the strawberies are in focus and the background is blurry, it brings more attention to the strawberries which was my goal.

Dilbarian_ beach chairs

I took this photo when i was in florida around 730 when the sun was setting.  I like the simplicity of the photo.  I also like how the water is moving in the background and how you can just see the sun setting in the right hand corner of the picture.  I also like the colors.  I love how the chairs are also casting shadows on the sand

Namubiru_Pencil

I took this photo in school with the floor as the background. I really love the sort of 3D effect that the pencil takes on. You can go either way on whether you like that there's so much darkness or not, but I like it, especially when it cuts the pencil in half, which enhances the 3D effect.

Bubello_Candles

I took this photo using my camera, without flash, and using the macro setting. I really liked the colors of the candles in this photo. I feel like the colors really pop well too. I also liked the light that was given off by the candles, even though they were a bit overexposed. I really liked the depth of field in this photo also.

Flavia_Modeling

I took this photo in Karen's neighborhood. We went to a little park which was next to woods. I really like there position their in. I also like the background of trees. I edited this photo in iPhoto. First I auto enhanced it and boosted it. Then I changed the saturation to 100, the contrast to 15, and the exposure to 0.12. I really like how it turned out after I edited because it was very dull before. Also their skin tones got much more highlighted. The trees' leaves got so much brighter too.

Somto___Stones.

I took this photo in my backyard, right after my dad finished mowing the grass. I took this as one of my nature picture but when i showed my dad, he said it wasn't nature. So i wanted to see what you guys thought about it. If it is anture or not. I also like how the grass circles around the stone and how focused the picture is. The only distracton there is how blurry most of the grass looks.

Condon_Nature

I took this photo outside in front of Marian High School. I took it last week when it was a nice and sunny day out. I actually really like this photo a lot because of the detail. I love how the flower is in such nice detail on the stick. Also, the part of the tree, we can see is in nice focus. I love how the background is blurred out and not in focus. It is really pretty with all the different shades of green. Overall, I really love how the photo turned out.

Mcgrath_semiformal

I took this photo on Friday before the Semi Formal at school. I took on the edge of Waushakum Pond in Framingham. I managed to get a candid shot which a like. Also like the serene lake background. I wish the photo was more centered though.

Duchaney_Tulip

I took this with my Canon Powershot SX110IS of the inside of a pink tulip during class time. I held it up to the sun so the light would shine through like stained glass, and I really like how the overlapping petals show through. I also like how the design is so geometric with radial symmetry, unlike how we usually percieve a tulip.  I'm really impressed with how, even though there is no human influence in the photo, it still manages to appear like a manmade design in opposed to what one might percieve as natural. It reminds me of a Georgia O'Keeffe painting. The texture of the petals even look like brush strokes. In this way, it does not come accross to me as a "nature" shot at all even though it is. However, I wish the focus was sharper.
