Yulu_Lattie

This is my favorite Lattie and i never drink a lattie like this one. the layer is very clearly. I took this picture in the dark light and i really love the background.

Austin_Gravestones

This is an image of a few old gravestones from my town. They are really weathered and sunken into the ground, but they are still interesting to read and photograph. I like the different shades of stone and the fading words. They make each gravestone unique. Taken outdoors, without flash.

Chan_Flower

This is a picture of a bush with its flowers beginning to blossom. I like this picture because of the colors. Also, I like the detail that you can see in the flower itself. If i could change something, i would have liked the flower to be in better focus. Also, I think that the green leaves are distracting in the photo.

truck_ Jules

I took this photo of this truck that was on the side of the road that was for sale. I like how the truck has highlights on it to make it stand out. I wish the background was less distracting though.

Hammock_Ricky Xiang

I took the photo of a hammock at the seaside. I think the hammock this photo a movement, and I also love the color of this photo as well.

Rabinowitz_Cape Cod

The first photo I had taken is of an Atlantic Sea Robin that was at the Woods Hole Science Aquarium. It took several shots for me to get this picture because the flash reflected off the tank and caused a glare.  I thought this fish was interesting looking and the tank had alot of detail.

I added this second photo because I missed last weeks posting.  I took this photo at a park in downtown Falmouth.  I like the coloring of the flowers on the tree against the bright blue sky and the green grass in this photo. I didn't have to use a flash, just sunlight.

Butay_Alleyway

This picture was taken while I was walking around the city when there weren't any cars or people walking around. I haven't taken too many pictures of landscapes so I was trying it out and I was also taking a couple pictures in black and white. This picture was taken at night using no flash. If I were to change something it would be the angle, I would shift over to the left a little to make the picture more centered.

BarbieriC_Ringshadow

This is a picture I took of a ring balanced on an open book. This was a difficult picture to take because I had to hold the light at the right angle so that the ring would make a heart on the pages. I like the concept of this picture however I don't like that it is right in the middle. I wish I had moved the camera and followed the rule of thirds.

Warzewska_Bridge

I took this photo over vacation in Cape Cod. I like the angles and the flow coming from the bridge. If I could have, I would have moved the camera to the right a little so the light post would not be included. (Auto-setting, no flash)

Bache_Lizzie

I took this photo at a track meet and I thought the sky looked in the background was pretty. I like that you can see the sky in the sunglasses and you can see a small bit of her eye hidden in the reflection of the sky on the left. I think the sun in the sunglasses looks a bit like a flash which may cause some distraction, but i think it adds good detail to the photo.

Chen_ the Capitol Hill

I took this picture in washington during the vacation. the flower is very colourful and the capitol hill looks very majestic, it really makes the image much more interesting. info: NIKON D90 [10-20mm F4-5.6] F16.0  1/125s  ISO200

Delmoral_Stairs

I took this picture at park in Brookline one day. I think it is cool how there are a bunch of different straight lines in the picture going horizontaly, verticaly, and diagnol like in the stairs, the railing, and the fence.

McGarry_Sunset/Dam

I missed last Sunday's update, so I am posting two photos today to compensate. The fist photo I took in cape cod on Friday. I liked the different pools of water leading up to the ocean, which led to the sun. it was taken at sunset with no flash. the second was taken at a dam for herring, it was taken at midday with no flash. it is a little overexposed, but that extra light really makes the water pop, I think.

Trevor_Small Business

The downtown district of Milford is probably a home to many different cutures that take care of different small businesses. This one sells clothes and ones that are not sold at retail stores and normal outfitters. Hand made clothing is what I think they make and if they do then it definitly shows the details that are in the pink dress. The idea that I had here was to capture multiple cultures in one photo with just clothing to represent those cultures. Now granted, I did not know which dress went to which culture but just having an idea that they were made outside of the United States or made by a small business is what makes the photo. One thing that bugs me is the tag on the black dress and I couldn't really remove it or move it out of the way. Also I wanted multiple cultures so that why I made sure the American flag was still in the frame.

I took this photo on Easter. I like this photo because I like how my cousin and my brother are so high up in the air and the photo makes it look like they are stuck up there. I also like the background. I like the ocean and the rocks and how you can kindove see the sun set behind them. (the pink sky) I did not use flash or any special settings.
