Garner_First Snow

I took this on Wednesday as the first snow began to fall. I used my canon rebel on the close up setting. It was an over cast day with little sun light. This an angel that has been in our garden for a long time, and I thought it would make a cool picture with natural light.

Lanefski_Ferris Wheel

I took this photo on Halloween when I went to Salem. This was taken with a Canon Rebel xS on iso 100. I love this photograph because of the bright lights compared to the night sky. The colors bring a happy mood to the photograph. I wish that the colors were a bit more defined and bright, and the distracting street light in the corner wasn't there.

Palencia_apple

I took this picture a few weeks ago when i went apple picking at Tougas farm. I like how the red stands out from the more neutral colors. I also like the details on the apple and on the broken twigs. The picture directs ones eyes to the top left to the bottom right of the picture.

Duchaney_Lightbulb Reflection

I took this with my Canon PowerShot SX110IS on indoor setting without flash. I took the lampshade off of the lamp on my desk, and I liked the look of the light's shape. I thought the smaller shape of the light's reflection was interesting, but I did not notice all of the clutter on my desk when I viewed the photo my camera. If I were to do this again, I would try to make it so that the bckground of the reflection was completely black and the white frame of the mirror less distrcting.

Dilbarian_ cheer competition

            i took this picture at my teams cheer competition last week.  i really love how all of the flyers are pulling a scorpion and how you can see each stunt group.  i also think the angle is cool because it is looking down the line of stunts

I took this picture of Christine Nolan at the Grist Mill in Sudbury a few weeks ago. It was a very sunny day so there is a slight glare in the photo. But I like, that, because of the sun, the mist from the waterfall is visible. I also like the highlights in the wood on the fence and the highlights around her hair and parts of her body. They make her stand out from the shadows in the background.

I took this picture of the plant in my room with a light over head.  I also used flash because the room was still not well lit and I turned on the lamp next to the plant so that the shadows would be more visible.

I used this picture for my term project, but I really wanted to share it on the blog. I took this photo in my home without flash. I really liked the depth of field in this photo as well as the clarity of my dog's face. I also liked that he was looking directly into the camera when I took the photo.

this is a pic of my cat sammy, he was chasing a leaf n i got im jumping 4 it. it wus clowdey and there was no flash.  i also got him climbing the tree!!
