I took a picture of the ski slopes at the beginning of March. The picture on the top is the original and the picture on the bottom is the original. I like how the picture is sharp and crisp, how the whole slope is included in the picture, and similar green and brown forest colors contrasting with white snow and highlighted fences. The picture looks better without the extra sky space.

Brossi_Beach

I took this photo a few weekends ago when I went to the cape.  It was late in the day, just before the sun was about to set.  I made sure to get the sand, grass, water and sky all in the picture because it adds depth and makes the beach look more interesting.  I think there is good use of texture in the sand and the grass, too.  I took this with natural light and no flash.

I took this photo this week when i was went to the anime show in Boston.I like the way that i took this photo. And the background is blurred which can make you facous on this girl. And the action this girl did it's cute when i was asked her to take a picture for her.

Burnham_Misc

I took this photo of a potted plant in my sisters room.  The first Photo is the original and the second photo is after I edited. I really liked the way the plant looked in her room in front of the white curtains and pink wall.  I just wasn't happy with the original came out and I think it look a lot better after I edited it.

I took this photo in "Paper Source" in Boston, and I want to do advertisement for that shop.  My advertisements for this shop will all be photos about different papers and cards in the store. The second photo is used for my Favorite project. I photoshoped the top one by making it darker, so that the photo could better focus on the post cards, which I think could be one way to draw attention from people.

Warr_Advertisement

These are my final drafts for the ad project. I took pictures of Elena and Robin and added them into templates that I made myself. As you can see, I am advertising American Apparel which is the largest clothing disturber in the country. I wanted to make them a bit different so I used three pictures for Robin's and two pictures for Elena's. Also, I put Elena's ad in black and white. I am really happy with the way these ads turned out.

Brossi_Street

I took this photo for one of my projects.  I like how this photo has a foreground, middle ground and background.  I really like how the snow and the sky are the same shade of white, but how the trees behind the shed distinguish the sky from the ground, so they don't blend together or make it confusing. I took this with natural light and no flash.

This is one of the photos that was not used in my favorite project. This is a Ford Raptor off-road truck. My favorite part of the photo is the way the tires are turned. It add's a cooler aspect to the photo. I took this photo on my way to Lake George, NY.

Khan_Ad

I took this picture of my friend Caroline in my backyard. I like this photo because it is a good action shot, and the background is not to cluttered. I also like the blue and pink because it brings color into the picture, when the background has bland colors.

Parker_Misc

I took this picture when it was back in February when it was briefly snowing. I like how everything is in focus while the snow falling is blurry. The way it becomes all foggy at the distance, makes it look interesting.

Bubello_Misc

I took this photo with my camera, without flash, and using the macro setting. I really liked this photo because the color of the bath bombs and how they are very vibrant. I really like how the gold flakes reflect the light in this photo. I also enjoyed the depth of field in this photo and felt that it made this photo very unique.

Alex_Ray-Ban Wayfarers

I chose this from my favorites post because I thought this one was a cool photo to pick. I took this photo yesterday for my favorites assigment. I like the vibrance of the orange and the pinkish red, I like that my Ray-Ban Wayfarer's compliment the shade of the table in the Natick Mall. I like the effect with the shadow of the temples of the glasses, I like the contrast of the brown lenses on the table because it makes my photo look interesting. I also like the lighting in this photo. I like sparkle effect from the indoor lighting on the frames of my sunglasses because it makes this photo look interesting, and it creates a good effect on the shininess of the heavy plastic frames. I also like the angle to this photo because it looks like an angle you would see in a Ray-Ban catalog. I like how most of the Wayfarers are in complete focus and the right temples are out of focus because it catches your eye on the important pieces to this photo. I also like that the contrast between the left temples and the right temples because the left temple is in focus and the right temple isn't in focus because it makes your eye pick up on the values to the photo. I also like the effect with the sunglasses on an empty table because it makes this photo also look like a photo you would see in an advertisement. This effect looks like an isolated area setting to this photo. I wish I could have changed the framing just a little bit so you wouldn't see the background behind the table. I took this photo indoors without flash, with macro, auto focus, natural lighting, soft-snap focus, auto white balance, auto iso speed settings, and with little overexposure as possible.

Dilbarian_shoe

I took this photo a couple days ago when i was doing a photo shoot of sperrys i had for my favorite assignment. This was a photo i chose not to use for the assignment, but i still really like it in many ways. I really like it because of all the colors and hoe vibrant they are, especially orange. I like how the snow fades away from top to bottom, from white fading into the black pavement and into ice. I like how the tan leather on the shoe is in such clean crisp focus, and how you can read the sperry top-sider writing on the back of the shoe perfectly. I like how the orange compliments the photo by making the brown more clearer and the black and  white of the ground make the neon orange pop. The only thing i don't like about the photo is the stick coming in from the left corner. But i could easily fi that in photoshop. Overall i think i did and ok job because i worked really hard on the picture and the photo shoot overall.

Sara_ misc

I took both of this photo a couple of weeks ago on an overcast day without flash.  I used my macro setting because i really like the way the wood looked.  I like the angle and the depth of field.  Even though the depth of field is really short, i like how it captured the detail in the wood.  I like the angle because i placed the camera on the edge of the corner and it is unique.  The bottom photo is the original and I cropped it and changed the contrast, sharpness and shadow contrast and created the first photo.  I like the top one better because the color contrast is more interesting and the details are highlighted more.

Teddy_Converse Hi-Top Shoes

I took this photo yesterday when I was taking photos for my favorite item advertisement assignment. This was one of the photos I used for my advertisement. I chose to post this photo because I liked how the lighting was in the photo. The lighting was fantastic in this photo all around, what makes this photo really interesting is the light casting from the left side of the photo. I like it how the sunlight is casting from the pavement and onto the shoes it makes it really interesting to the viewer. I also like it how the sunlight made a shadow cast off of the shoes and onto the pavement it gives the photo a really professional photo feel to it. I chose to take this photo in the parking garage of the Natick Mall since I thought if I took the photo of my shoes somewhere else it wouldn't have looked as natural and unique of a photo. I thought by having them on a pavement floor it would make the shoes fit in perfectly for an outdoors category shot. I think it was the best set up for the shoes to be photographed at. I don't think I would have changed anything about this photo because everything seemed fantastic about this photo, the colors, lighting, and the setting are all matched perfectly for this photo which really makes this a really great photo.
