misc.

the first photo was an idea for the reflections project, but i decided not to use it and add it to miscellaneous. for the second and third photos, i wanted to photograph the sun in different ways to get different effects.

signs

This was taken in the car without flash. There was a rear-view mirror on the right hand side but it was kind of distracting so I cropped it out.

Flood

I took this on one of the main streets in my town, after the rain it flooded. No flash, natural lighting.

Coco puffs

I really like this picture because of the light on the bowl and the shadows. I took this around 9 am in natural light.

Sunset

This is a photo I took of the sun setting on Saturday. The wires got in my way, but this is the only view I get. I like how the trees are all in shadow, so the purples and pinks really stand out.

Nature Walk

I went on a nature walk this weekend and took this picture. I like this picture because the reflections of the trees in the patch of water and the subtle horizon in the back.

sunnyday

i took this this afternoon around 1 i like the shadows and the contrast between light and dark

Stairwell

This one I took with no flash and all natural lighting.

Moss on a tree

This is a picture of a reflection that i took while doing my bubble wrap project. One of the gold confetti stars i used for my project got pushed aside and put on a white sheet. I could see a little bit of yellow showing above it so i positioned it so that the reflection looked exactly like the star.

the beginnings of spring

I took this picture of the beginning of a tulip late afternoon. I liked the spiral in the middle and the red point. I wish it was more focused, though.

chandelier

I turned this in for the bubble wrap assignment. I took a picture of the chandelier in my dining room with bubble wrap in front of it.

Camping

This is a picture of Jim (My Inch worm) and my friend Andrea. I liked that Jim is very much in focus, and Andrea is in th background. Taken in natural light in the woods!
