Ribera - Opposing Landscapes

These two landscapes are opposing because one is of a busy highway and one is of a of a tranquil street.

Opposing landscapes

These are opposing landscapes because one is very sunny and has an orange tint while the other is dark with a more blue tint.

kiley- opposing landscapes

Meg Staff's Opposing Landscapes

Image 1Image 2
I chose these 2 apposing landscapes because I feel they express opposing moods. Image 1 shows a cheery sunny day, full green trees, a calm blue lake and a clear sky; While Image 2 shows a melancholy cloudy day, fall trees covered in shadows, a dark lake with ducks and a stormy sky.

Siobhan - Opposing Landscapes

These two "classroom"scapes are opposing not only because one picture has students in the desks, and the other doesn't, but also because one is horizontal and one is vertical. Also, in the picture without the students, you can see more of the room, like the floor and wents, rather than mostly the students.

Colin McElearney Opposing Landscapes

I chose these two pictures as opposing landscapes because they were taken in almost opposite weather conditions. One was taken on a cold dreary morning and the other was taken on a warm sunny morning.

Opposing Landscapes

These are opposing landscapes because the first one is taken facing the bridge from further down the river and is facing the north while the second one is taken from the bridge facing south.

Pellegrino_OpposinngLandscape01

The image on the top is taken from inside of the backyard looking into the woods and the picture on the bottom is taken from the woods looking into the backyard. In the first picture, the colors are warm with shades of browns and yellows. The second picture has more of a cool tone with the blues and greys. It looks like there is warmth and civilization in the backyard when on the other hand, the woods look cold and dead. The mood of these two pictures oppose each other.

Cassandra Opposing Landscapes

these are opposing landscapes, because image one of the road going up the hill and image two is going down the road.

Opposing Landscapes.Maura.Sunrise & Sunset

Both of these images were taken from my front yard. The first one is a sunrise and the second one is a sunset :)

opposing landscapes

opposing landscapes

These pictures are opposing because the lighting is dramatically different in each image.

Monday, November 12

These pictures are taken from opposing point of views. One is from the back of the bird house looking across the street and the other is from the front of the birdhouse looking at the street on the opposite side. I like this picture because at first glance the birdhouse looks oversized and almost as big as a doghouse. It also looks as if the birdhouse is on the ground. The view of the birdhouse from the back still looks big but not as it appears from the front.

Katie Flagg opposing landscapes

These are meant to be opposing because one is outside of the train and one is inside. =)

opposing scapes

Image 1
Image 2
These are opposing becasue image one is taken on the left side of a fence. While image 2 is taken on the right side of the same fence. I chose this pair because i like the coloring.

opposing_____scape

These two pictures are opposing images because the top one is taken from the bottom of a hill and the bottom one from the top of the hill. i came up with these images because i was driving through my neighborhood and i thought this would be a cool idea. It also gives you that fall affect with the colorful tress in it.
