Reitter_ Record Player

This is a photo from the assignment "6 photos." The title of this photo is Record Player. This is a 1980's record player that is in a cabinet next to my t.v. The record player is also a radio, tape player and sound system. The record player is in the cabinet, so most of the player is not visible. This photo was taken indoors without flash in my living room.

Chen_large

This is the picture that i took for large. The depth of field in that picture is large, and i want to use a slow shutter speed, so i decide to use F22.. i really like the sun set colour, the trees and the water fall. here is the info for that picture: NIKON D90 [10-20mm F4-F5.6] F22.0 1/6s ISO200 -2.3EV.

Wang_cloud

This is one of the photos I shoot during summer time. I took it because the shape of the cloud is pretty. It is took without flashlight, and the pixels is low because I took it with a cell phone.

McGarry_Chess

This is one of the pictures i took for the 6 things assignment, for the word bumpy. It was originally a picture of a chess set halfway through a game, covered by a handkercheif. I'm not sure what I was thinking. Anyway, I decided to use a different photo for the assignment, but I liked this picture, and I decided to post it. this picture was taken indoors at night, with reasonable lighting and no flash. there was a lot of color distortion in the picture (the white shows up reddish), which I didn't like. does anyone have any suggestions on getting rid of that?

Chan_Miscellaneous

This is a photograph a a lamp in my sister's room. I like how the patterns are very defined and I feel that the round shape of the lamp adds movement to the picture. This was taken by blocking the flash and on the macro setting.

Bache_Sunglasses

I took this photo because I was excited about my new glasses. I thought it would be cute if my brother wore them, because of the solid background and the reflection in the lense of the glasses it became a fairly cool and interesting photo. The refection draws the viewer to the focal point of the image. Because his head isn't in the center of the picture from wanting to include the peace sign, the photo unintentionally agrees with the rule of thirds. I think this photo has good color and lighting. It was taken without flash creating interesting shadows in the face and on the wall.
