I took this picture while i was in the Cape over the long weekend. I like it because i thought they were extremely interesting looking and the colors really reminded me of coastal living. they really went along with the theme of the Cape and their arrangement and colors really drew me in.

misc.

for the first two photos, i loved the way the sky looked, so i took several photographs to capture the patterns in the sky. the last photo was taken a few months ago, but i just stumbled upon it and realized that i never used it for photography class. i decided to post it because i like the focus, contrast, and angle.

spider

I thought the legs picked up some nice highlights and I liked the really narrow depth of field in this picture.

This is a picture I took for Me, Myself, and I with the self-timer. It represents how others see me--sometimes my mom calls me "sunshine," so I tried to get the sun behind me, and I really like how it turned out, and then I played around with effects and thought the sepia looked good. I wish the top of my curtain wasn't kind of "growing" out of my head.

ripped tarp

this is a photograph of a body of water through a streached ripped tarp. i took this becasue it seemed to be an interesting look as the wind was blowing.

sexy mouth?

This was taken while my friend was sleeping in the car. I like that it is well-focused on his mouth.

Lily

This is a photo of a lily just beginning to blossom. I like the highlights on the different parts of the flower petals and how the flower is really in focus. The green and brown in the back is a little distracting to me, but also helps make the pop a little and make the photo a little softer.

Shiny string

Tjis is just a miscellaneous image, but I really like how the light was picked up so well in the shoes and the shiny ball at the end of the string.

Rings & Worm

This is a picture of Jim, my inch worm on someone's hands. I cropped it, taken in natural light. I liked the highlights.

Book and Chest

I took this picture in my moms garden. It used a different version of this picture for the Me Myself & I project. 

Tattoo

This is a picture of a tattoo. I really like the wisps of hair coming from the top of the frame.

Winding Road

I took this picture while golfing with my dad. The lighting is all natural, but I boosted the color a little bit because the camera's exposure was too long. I like how I cut off some of the road to the side.

Guitarist

I took this picture at a Carrie Underwood concert. I like how i captured the guitarist in this position. I also like how he is the center of the photo and then the orange-y light is on the right.
