I really like the lighting in this picture, and I think you had good positioning and timing to get really nice highlights in his hair and on the side of his face.
I liked this picture, because he's got this mysterious emotion thing goin on,like he looks happy but the lighting looks like it could effect his emotions.
Show that a portrait does not have to have 'front' lighting - slight turn to your right or sean's left would give face bit more highlight - also a small reflector could add a 'touch' of light to other areas - like it
i really like how the light reflects off of his head and the rest of the picture is kind of dark.
