I took this picture because I like the color contrast between the flower and the background, I also like the highlights the sun made on the petals.

I like the angle of the picture and how the light reflects threw the leaves, even though the top of the petals are a little out of focus
I really like the shot you took! This shows wonderful improvement. The colors are great between the foreground and the petals. I agree with Jules that the petals are a little out of focus, but it is a wonderful shot. I like that the flower takes up the entire picture.
