This is a photo I took on friday while I was hiking mount monadnock. There was a sudden snowstorm on the way down, and while it was a pain to hike in, it was great to take pictures in. I took this because I liked how the running water clashes with the snow on the sides. this was taken late-mid afternoon on an overcast day with no flash in a snowstorm (you can't see the snow because there is no flash).

This is a really good photo, because the movement of water and the freezing grand have composed a good composition.

This picture is great! I like how the water fall is framed by the snow. It brings out its colors and the picture also has great flow!

The snow on the left and right parts of the picture do give a color other than green and brown from the river but it doesn't completly cover the branches and and leaves, so one can see details other than the river. As the flow of the water goes, it does coplement the path that the snow gives as it moves down from the picture. But maybe, if possible, you could remove some twigs and some leaves so the rocks in the river would be visible.
