Trees

I took this picture on the edge of a wooded area near my house, in natural light. It's a little blurry, but I like the way the greens blend together, like an impressionist painting.

this was taken around 7oclock while i was in a car. the contrast has been slightly manipulated

in the first photo, the sky was empty and boring so i filled the empty space in with a tree because the dark green tones in the leaves compliment the browns of the bricks and they contrast eachother nicely. in the second photo, i overexposed the sky because i wanted the focus to be on the squirrel, the leaves, and the branches.

I really like the texture of the sand. I took this picture around sunset with natural lighting.

Flowers

This is a photo of some fake flowers that I took at my great grandmother's house. I adjusted the contrast and brightness a little to make the colors pop a bit more and to make the photo a bit darker. I like all the colors, and how nothing is in the direct center. I think there may be a bit much going on though.

Cloudy Day

It was really cloudy and overcast out, so I went for a walk and took a lot of pictures. I took this one from on top of a bridge. Auto setting

Willow Tree

I took this picture on the automatic setting on my film camera. I really like the movement captured of the Willow tree. And the formation of the bark around the small hole that looks like a heart.

Phlox

I took this picture in the afternoon on a sunny day after my mom finished watering all the flowers. I like the colors of this picture, and i really like the way the drops of water look.

I took this picture in my garden. I liked all of the colors so i took many photographs of them. I liked this one because it is very in focus.

for the first photo, i wanted to focus on reflection and lighting. for the second photo, i wanted to work on placement of the subject and composition. for the third photo, i wanted to create an abnormal area of focus.

Trip to NY

These are a couple pictures I took on a recent trip to NYC. I think the Indians in front of the cigar store are fun. I liked how the reflection on the window display shows what the mannequin sees even though the camera has a different viewpoint. I also like how the bikes circle the tree instead of just being lined up in a row.

Cranberry juice

I edited this photo to make the colors richer. I like the reflection of light on the table, and the gradient of light from there out.

This was taken with natural light. I like how the way her head was burried and it focused on the mirror. But I think it'd be better if her head was much more burrier, which would have sharpened the focus point.

I took this picture on a sunny afternoon. I like how bright blue the sky is and the way the branches look against it. I also like the light on some of the branches.
