Saturday, April 18

This is of a flower stand and was taken around 7:00 but there was lights on above them. It was taken at 200 ISO and 1/8 shutter speed.

easter morning

This was taken on Easter Sunday at approximately 6:45 AM. I loved the color of the clouds in the sky and the exposure.

Sunday, April 12

Egg Hunt!

I took both around 3pm, no flash.
Bottom: I like the angle and the bright colors against the dull color of the grass.

Spring

I took these in my back yard. The day was really nice and warm. I like the shadow in the first one. I love the second one. I took a lot of trees' picture but I think this one is the most interesting photo.

crazy NYC

I was in New York and I couldn't help but take pictures of these things. They caught my eye becasue of the bright colors or random objects. The first was taken around noon with 1/200 shutter speed f 4.0 and 80 ISO. The second was taken 1/100 shutter speed f 4.0 and ISO 80 around 1:00.

Tuesday, April 7

when the city sleeps and I'm the only one I walk alone

These pictures were taken at approximately 8:48 PM. I love the starbursts on the green traffic light and other lamps. I also like the depth of field. These were interesting night time shots.
The picture on top:

Cows & Trees

These pictures were taken when I visited my grandfather in NY. I like the colder feeling with the snow and the gray skies. The Shutter for the cows was 1/250 ans 1/1250. Im not sure what the aperature was but i could find out if you wich to find out.

Bass

I took these pictures during 3 term (i havent been able to upload anything online for a while now, my apoligies) I like the lighting and warm colors of these pictures so i decised to share them you the class as well.<3 the aperature was about 3.5 and the shutter was about 1/20. I believe the ISO was set on 200 as well.

Holding the sun

This sunday is really nice out today. I waked and went to the lake. Everything changes. I took the sun by many different ways and I asked to Eliza to jump.

NY

I went to New York City this weekend to visit New York University and I took these pictures. The first two were taken the same day at about 4:30 from Madison Square Park. They were taken at 1/200 shutter speed and 80 ISO. The third was taken around 6:30 at 1/6 shutter speed and 80 ISO.

city bright night lights

1/30 F3.5
-1.0 exposure
ISO 640
I used flash in this picture because I wanted a more crisp look. The only ting i found distracting was the white light form the flash bouncing off of the reflector on the bike. I love the rays of starbursts from the street lamps and traffic lights. Even though it was taken on a chilly and cool night, this picture is deceiving because the warm colors make it look like a summer night in Boston

Friday, March 27

I took this with an Olympus point and shoot camera at around 6 or 7 right as the sun was setting. The picture was taken through a car window, so the focusing of the picture isn't too good, but I really like the colors of the sky and sunset.

heart

I took this picture early in the evening before the sun began to set. It was taken on the automatic settings with my d60, with no flash used. I really like the way the heart and footprints in the sand cast shadows.

Alvin

TOP: Take around 5pm. I like the colors and the angle, it makes the cat look taller than he actually is. I also really like how the green in his eyes came out
BOTTOM: Take about 2 minutes earlier, Alvin jumped in front of me wanting food, and I like the angle I had looking through the camera. This was take with a flash.

19 on the 19th

TOP: I took this with no flash inside, around 6pm. I like the lighting and the simple backround. I also like the way the light from the candle reflects in my brothers eyes.
BOTTOM: I took this the same time and setting as the top pic. I like this one because of the colors and the look of the steam coming form the food

Abby!

I took these pictures after that weird snowstorm on sunday. It was about 5:00 and the lighting was very nice :). They were all taken with f 2.7 and 1/50 through 1/200 shutter speed. I enjoyed making up her outfits and mismatching clothes :)

Spring

I found the flower! Spring starts! I love spring, I feel like everything starts again. I like the purple color and I like the detail of grass.

Sunday, March 22

top diptych is from Assembly of God, again. Me and my friend charlie.
and the bottom one is of my boyfriend, and i don't know - i messed around with lighting effects and colors on this one to see how they would look- don't know how i feel about it.

red house white fence

I took this picture at a different farm in southboro around 5:00. It was taken at 1/200 shutter speed, f 4.0, and 80 ISO. I have a picture where I am more zoomed in but I like the rock wall and the blue sky.

pure excitement

I love this picture because it was a happy moment and the snapshot was clear. I used flash so that the picture would be more sharp and so I could see all of her features. I like the harsh lighting coming off the balloon strings.
1/30 F-stop 3.5
-1.0 exposure
ISO 200

Thursday, March 19

i took these shots yesterday with paul kmiec after school. they were all at the Assembly of God (Mrs. Baril's husbands church) by the warehouse side.
i know that my ISO was on 200, and i converted the black and white one on my computer. But i don't know the rest of my settings.
I really like these shots, i think they're creepy cool.
