Trees

I took this in the morning outside Marian. I like the way the entire photo is filled up.

Oak tree seed

This is an extreme close up of a "helicopter" oak leaf seed. I had some trouble keeping the focus clear on this shot.

Marian

I walk by this statue everyday and noticed how peaceful she looks.

Panorama

I took this panorama picture in natural light in the rain. The bright background makes the building in the center really stand out.

I like the angle of this picture as well as the focus on the purple plant.

Lion

I took this photo at the Zoo today. I like how the lion is off to the side of the photo and how the leaves frame nearly the enitre photo and the cave the rest. I also like how he's not looking at the camera but you can still see his face clearly and it's a mostly natural, focused, pose.

Angry Gardener

Natural lighting, I like how the picture is divided into three parts with the grass, the leaves and the pavement.

A leaf

I took this extreme closeup of a leaf in order to clearly show the structure.

Sad daffodils

These daffodils had just been watered, but it weighed them down and makes them look depressed.

Branches

I took this sometime in the afternoon, from a window in the school. I like the way the moss starts to creep in at the bottom to vary the texture, and I like the way the branch is off-center.

dandelion

This is a closeup of a half of a dandelion. I like the focus on the center and how the small wisps around the edges look. I also like the green from the grass in the background.

Catfish!

I used a flash, so its a little washed out but i like that the ground is like a blurred focus.

Isolated Chair

Natural lighting, no flash. I really like the shadows and reflections that the chair makes against the wall and floor; but the door in the background takes the focus away from the chair.

misc

I like how it is well-focused on her hair but i think it would be much better if the background wasn't that messy.

Big Red Flower

I saw this flower while I was out celebrating confirmation.

Sun

I took this photo a few weeks ago in New Hampshire. I like the way the trees are all reaching towards the sun. The photo has a general flow towars the right corner. I also like how the sun in a little off center.
