Window

I took this picture on our "snow" day. I don't use the blinds in my room because I like how bright it is outside, so I took a picture. I like the way the top left corner creates a cross shape and is the brightest part of the picture and gives it a focal point, and from there the light fades. I wish I could get rid of the top of the window that is at the top of the picture, because it stops the light from fading like the rest of the photo.

I like the idea of this photo a lot, and how everything but the window is dark. Its crisp, but maybe if it was taken at a brighter time of day more of the details like the edges of the curtain and the highlights on the windowpane could stand out more. Other than that, great work. I also like the nice depth you created by having the room, the window, the outside, and then trees way off the distance. It gives someone a lot more to look at.

i love how the simple subject matter outside of the window doesnt take away from any aspect of the photo. also, because of the bright light behind it, the pattern and texture of the curtain are so clear and crisp. the focal point, the ruffle on the right curtain, is wonderful and very nicely lit.
