This is some sort of pellet lodged in between the layers of bark on a tree. I like this photo because i like the way the white stands out from the grey and brown of the tree. I also like how the almost perfectly round shape makes it stand out from the irregular lines of the tree. If i could redo this, i would try to get closer up on the pellet.

I really like this photo! I think that the depth of field really adds to the detail of the bark, which makes the pellet stand out more. Even though the focus is not entirely on the pellet the flow from the bark still leads to it. If I could change anything I would try to have more focus on the pellet and more of the bark.
