Burnham_Flower
I took this picture at my friends house earlier today. I really like the colors in this photo and the angle I took it at. I also like how it is focused on the flower and not the back round. I think that the way one of the petals is covering the center of the flower makes the photo look much more interesting.

I really like this photo because of the contrast and vibrant variety of colors. I also like how the center of the flower is perfectly in focus, and the background is blurred out of focus. This attracts the viewers attention towards the center of the flower. I really think the most interesting part of this photo is the splash of pink on the petals, because it gives the viewer an artistic point-of-view towards the flower. I also find this photo really interesting because of the water droplets on the petals, this creates a much more interesting source of light to this photo. The things I would change in this photo would be the focus on the front and edges of the petals because this would make the photo appear much more vibrant, and brighter. I am posting for 10/16/13. I like this photo because the flower being crisp, clear, and it contrasting with the background. What I don't like about it are leaves being in the picture. I also don't like the overexposed lighting in the picture. What I would have done different would be getting rid of the leaves in the background. As well as angling the camera so that the overexposed lighting won't be seen by the camera.
I am posting for Deirdre Burnham's purple flower with a green background.
