james_3flower

I took the original photo about 4 months ago, the photo on top. I took the photo with the flash off. I think if it was a sunny day you would be able to see the flowers full color and the detail of the flowers. This was taken standing up. One of my favorite things about this photo is the pink shade in the flower. I overall like the dark feeling in the second photo.

I like how one the flowers in the top picture is in focused and the other flowers are out of focus. It gives the picture more dimensions.

I like this photo James for many reasons. I like the natural saturation to both of these photos. I really like the different variety for color in this photo. I really like the effect with only one of the three flowers is in focus because it draws your full attention to the flower and its amazing true aspect of the qualities of nature. I really like how you can really see the texture on the edges of the flower because it makes this photo look really cool to look at. I think your lighting to the photo is just right, not too distracting. I think with the other two flowers out of focus it makes your photo look interesting. I like the feel of this photo because it looks like a photo you would see in like a nature magazine or book. I like the contrast for this photo especially the different cross of pink for the photo from the center of the flower is a darker pink, and the rest of the flower has a lighter shade of pink. I think this makes you catch your attention and keeps this photo in good observation. I like in your second version of the photo, the way you saturated the photo. I think with enhancing the colors of the flowers makes your photo have an interesting contrast with the ground which is purplish in the edited photo. I like how you darkened the photo because it makes your photo have a neon light effect to your photo. I also like how your edited photo has very bright and vibrant shades of colors. It makes your photo look with nice appearance to the depth of your photo. I also really like the way you tinted your photo because it makes it look warmer in temperature like a thermal effect. I think both photos are really interesting to look at and they look like an editorial category photo. Good work. There isn't anything to critique for this photo.
