Opposing Landscapes

These are opposing landscapes because the first one is taken facing the bridge from further down the river and is facing the north while the second one is taken from the bridge facing south.

The image on the top is taken from inside of the backyard looking into the woods and the picture on the bottom is taken from the woods looking into the backyard. In the first picture, the colors are warm with shades of browns and yellows. The second picture has more of a cool tone with the blues and greys. It looks like there is warmth and civilization in the backyard when on the other hand, the woods look cold and dead. The mood of these two pictures oppose each other.

Both of these images were taken from my front yard. The first one is a sunrise and the second one is a sunset :)

These pictures are opposing because the lighting is dramatically different in each image.

These pictures are taken from opposing point of views. One is from the back of the bird house looking across the street and the other is from the front of the birdhouse looking at the street on the opposite side. I like this picture because at first glance the birdhouse looks oversized and almost as big as a doghouse. It also looks as if the birdhouse is on the ground. The view of the birdhouse from the back still looks big but not as it appears from the front.

These are opposing becasue image one is taken on the left side of a fence. While image 2 is taken on the right side of the same fence. I chose this pair because i like the coloring.

These two pictures are opposing images because the top one is taken from the bottom of a hill and the bottom one from the top of the hill. i came up with these images because i was driving through my neighborhood and i thought this would be a cool idea. It also gives you that fall affect with the colorful tress in it.

i like this picture because of the light coming from the window. it outilnes the features on my cats face. and it is also being reflected off of the pitcher behind him. i like how the front of his face is very bright and the back is much darker.

i chose this picture because i like how the light coming from behind me is very white, but the light shining on my face is yellow light. i also like the contrast of lighting on the side of my face. You can see where the two colors meet, and change.

I like this picture due to the fact that the dog is in the sunlight and it brings out the color whereas the rest of the picture is not in direct light

I chose this picture because the light in Siobhan's eyes give her life and you can feel her playfullness (if that's a word) as she peaks at you through the tunnel. ^-^

I like this picture because I like the color contrast, the dark green grass with my black/white cat. I also like the angle and the shadows breaking her up.
