I took this picture last sunday morning in my kitchen in front of my window. i like how the focus is in deep detail on all the deep ridges of the almonds. and the shadows that are cast through out the picture.

i love how the light catches the true colors of the almonds. this picture is a great one because it is so natural looking
I like how the shadows give you variation in the shade of brown without ruining the detail. The lines draw to the center of the photo. I also like the focus in the center and how it's not blurry but just slightly out of focus in the foreground and background.
The lighting of this picture is really nice. The shadows make the picture more intersting and are not very distracting. The light also makes for warm, rich shades of brown. There is a lot of depth created by the angles and positionings of the almonds. On the left hand side, there is just one small blank spot that i wish was filled because i think it would have given the picture even more depth and made it even more interesting.
I love the texture of this photo, it's really enhanced by the lighting and contrast. Nice!
