I took this picture of my dog lying down because his expression was sad and looked good to photograph. I liked that his face was clear but the rest of his body is a little fuzzy. This picture was taken indoors without flash.

I like how this photo was taken at ground level, drawing the attention to the dog. I also like how the face is in focus, whereas the rest of the body is not. The only thing that I would change is the background, which is a bit distracting. Otherwise, great photo!
I like this photo because it follows the rule of thirds. the dog's face is almost at the center of the thirds and the line of the floor is parallel to one of the imaginary lines of the thirds. I agree with Emelia, the background is a little distracting but the dog's face is in good focus.
