This is a picture of a shoe that was on the side of the road while I was walking around Marlborough. It seemed like a good thing to take a picture of at the time, it reminds of a sandal Jesus would wear. This was taken outdoors with natural lighting on an overcast day.

This is an interesting photo. The sidewalk and leaves on the bottom right-hand corner add some flow to the photo. I also like how the background is patterned and textured, which makes the sandal stand out. The photo is out of focus though, and there is too much negative space around the shoe.
