This is a picture of hawk that flew onto our tree in my backyard. I was surprised that it did not fly away the closer I got. I like the blue coloring of the sky against the contrast of the tree branches. I also like how the sunlight brings out the white coloring of it's feathers and the fact that it was also staring at me.

I really like this photo! The branches all around the hawk add flow and movement to the photo. I also like how you positioned the hawk in the middle, allowing it to be framed by the branches. The chimney at the bottom is a bit distracting, and the photo is out of focus a little, but otherwise it's a great photo!
the shot is well-aimed, and the pose of the eagle is excellent. also, the thick branches really help to frame the eagle. the image is a little out of focus, perhaps you could lean the camera on something to stabilize it?
