I took this photo in school with the floor as the background. I really love the sort of 3D effect that the pencil takes on. You can go either way on whether you like that there's so much darkness or not, but I like it, especially when it cuts the pencil in half, which enhances the 3D effect.

Nice photo Karen!!! I see what your saying about the pencil being cut.I also love the darkness in the picture and on the paper i love how i can see you hand shadow.
I really like this photo because it's very unique. I love how the pencil is at a diferent angle and we are looking down, from a birds eye view. I also like how the picture is dark and has shaddows it really makes it different. None of it looks blurry and is all in well focus
Thanks for the complements guys! Ya, since most pictures are well lighted throughout the whole photograph, I thought this would stand out because of all the shadows and darkness which enhances the lighted parts.
