Brown Peace Dollar

I took this photo in my bedroom on the floor. In the photo I used one of my coins from my old us coin collection. I took this photo of my 1923 peace dollar to use for my subject. I like it how the background is all blurred out and the coin isn't blurred out. It makes your eyes focus only on the coin. I used both an overhead light and a lamp light to get the light glare on the coin makes it look much more interesting. The coin has some dings in it but the quality is great other than that.

I like this photo. The coin looked like a very normal thing in our live, but this person took a photo of it on the floor, so I think he focused on detailed things. The color of the floor was similiar to the coin's, so maybe it made the photo looked old, which was the feeling I liked. I think the only thing needed to improve was that in order to make it even and let the coin become the center of the photo, the left side of this photo should be cut off.

I like how you can easily read the "In God We Trust" words. I also like how the neck comes out of the coin. I think the vertical lines around the circle of the coin add character to the image. The quality of the image really catches my eye, I think the photographer did a great job blending in the coin with the basic white floor.
