Barbieri_Pinecone


This is a picture I took of a giant pinecone that we have. I like how the focus is really crisp. Also, I like the flow and how it looks like the pinecone is coming at you. This was taken indoors, no flash

I like how close up the photo is. It makes the pinecone look a lot bigger than it actually is. Also, i like how you can see the detail in the pine cone. If I could change something, I would have tried to get better focus. Overall, i like this photo.

I really like this photo! the angle it was taken at makes it hard to tell what it is at first, and the background complements the color of the pinecone nicely. the focus is okay, but it might have been better to make the depth of feild expand over the part of the pinecone closest to the camera. this is the part that the eye is drawn to first, and it is confusing to see it slightly blurry. overall, though, it is a great photo!

I agree that the focus should be on the front most part of the pine cone but my camera just auto-focuses and thats how it turned out!
