Chan_Watch

I like this photo a lot because of the crisp focus. I also like the way the light reflects off of the metal numbers and dials. If I could change something, i would have changed the angle so that the area in the top left corner is not in the frame. I think that distracts from this photo.

I like this close up picture, the main object is nice in focuse, very shallow depth of the field.If you can make the background all black, that will be a better picture.

The close up on the glass of the watch does add the glare which helps show off the clear glass that is used for it. This being a watch that isn't even out of its package adds that feeling of expensive and new. Actually keeping the top left corner does help with the photo as it shows the depth and how close up you were when you took the shot. Which then shows that when even this close up, the Citizen Watch is new, freshly made, and ready to be bought at a resonable price. Now the mutual colors, silver and black, just makes the viewer focus on the item itself and with it being a square watch in a square container, it fits the setting quite nicely.

I agree that an all black background would be less distracting. I also agree that top left corner adds some depth to the photo. I'd probably lean more in the direction of an all black background to make it less distracting.
