Palencia_Flower

I used this photograph for my marian by the letter project. For thanksgiving my mom decorated the house with a few of these. I really like this picture because the vase and flower is well focused and the sun allows the little hairs on the flower to show up. I also like that you can see part of the flower in the water but the top half outside.  If I would've noticed earlier I would have cleaned the vase because some the hand print are a bit distracting.

I appreciate the idea of the object: the flower flowing on the water in the jar. I like the way you take picture from; the angle of the picture. However, I think it will be the perfect picture with following alterations. First, I think the jar should be clear so that we can see the transparent water and the flower clearly. Second, Since there is light behind the object, it would be better if the picture is meant to be silhouette.

I agree that this photo is well focused and I like that you can see the little hairs on the flower. If I could change one thing I would crop out the window/couch in the background so all of the attention would be on the flower.

I like this photo and how the glass the flower is in is clear. The light shines through, making the flower almost glow. This was deffinatly a creative way to shoot the flower. I also think it is well focused, and the lighting is good. I would crop out the other part of the window though, just so the flower would be more center with no distractions.
