BDilbarian_Still Life


I recently took this picture of a sox hat in my room. I chose this picture for my still life assignment because I like the angle that it is taken at. I also like how the light hits the red stitching in the symbol. I like how you can see the grains and material of the old hat. I like how the wall as my back drop complements the navy blue and the red in the hat. If i was to change something it would be the the focus on this picture.

I really like this picture because the hat is the main focus and there is no distracting background that takes away from it! However the background and the hat are similar colors which makes the photo seem a little dull. Maybe if you added a more colorful background it would have made the hat stand out more. I love the texture of the hat and how in focus it is. Overall good picture!
