I took this photo for my chronological project. The shells are in the main focus, but the waves in the background are still clear enough where you can still see them and see where the tide is. The colors of the rocks and the shells compliment the sand, and the blues in the ocean compliment the blues in the sky and the clouds. I took this on an overcast day with no flash and natural light.

I chose this photo from my chronological photo assignment. I like it how in this photo the banana is changing from yellow to brown. This was one of the last few photos that I took of the banana but I chose this one because of the different colors of the banana the yellows, and browns. Overall the focus on the photo was great the banana was in focus except for the end closest to the camera which is blurred. The only thing I would have changed would have been the angle that I took the photo, the chair in the left corner, and the white placemat on the right side on the top can be a little bit distracting. Overall I think it was a pretty good photo that I chose from my chronological photo options.

I chose this photo for my editorial project. This photo was taken yesterday when I was shopping in Boston. The person with a blue coat in this photo was actually a very old woman. Yesterday was snowing and it was really cold outside. I saw everyone had a coat on, and young people were hanging out and they also got something new for themselves. But this old woman was walking really slowly with her green suitcase in Newberry Street. I think this photo expressed the feeling of lonely.

I chose this photo of my editorial pictures to post because I really liked the way the quarter somewhat blends in with the pennies, yet it stands out in it's own way. I think the way the light reflects off some more than others really adds character to it as well.
Chronological_Burnham
I chose this photo from my chronological photos because I really like the view that the photo is taken at and the angle in the photo. I also like how you can see the snow falling. I only wish that there was something more interesting outside the window.
Khan_Snow
This photo is from my chronological project. I like this photo because of the way the snow it makes it look. Everything is covered in white, and it makes the photo look unique. I also like the color contrast between the green and the white.

I took this picture on Stanley Avenue after my neighbor's house had a fire. The picture it self can tell a story. The picture I thought was clear and crisp and the framing of the picture was pretty good. The amounts of color in the picture are relatively the same.
Alex_Chronological
I chose this photo for my chronological post because I think it was the best photo out of the many photos in this chronological photo assignment. I like the lighting to this photo, the variety of colors in this photo, the different shades of blues, yellow, and red. I like this photo because of the contrast from the trees which are darkened. I also like how this photo is almost in perfect focus, I like the setting with the sun almost setting over the trees because it makes this photo look interesting. I also like how some of the trees are in a silhouetted effect. I think the sunset sky makes this photo look artistic to the viewer. I wish I could change the position just a little bit to the right so I would make the photo look more interesting to look at. I took this photo in my backyard at 4 pm not too long ago. I took this photo without the flash, using auto focus settings, macro, auto white balance, auto ISO adjustments, and with natural light.

I took this picture of my sister for my editorial project. I really like this picture because of the overall winter vibe. I used the rule of thirds for this photo and put Sara towards the right side of the photo. I like how the snow really makes herself stand out alot more in the photo. I like how the fence in the background compliments the photo instead of taking away from it. I think i did a pretty good job on this picture and assignment.
Sara_ Chronological
I took this photo for my chronological assignment. I like it because of the colors. It is in about the middle of the set of photos so i like how it demonstrates a change. i like the shadow to the left because it is consistent through all of the photos. Lastly, i if i could, i would change the lighting so it is less harsh and more natural
Bubello_Chronological
I took this photo using my camera, without flash and using the macro setting. I really liked this photo because of the sunshine coming through the trees. I also really liked the depth of field in this photo. The ground is out of focus and the rest of the photo is generally in focus. I believe the the blues in the sky really pop because everything else in the photo doesn't have much color.

Make up post. I took this picture today in my driveway. I really like this picture because it shows alot of character. I like how the trees look like their angled in to the center of the photo. I like how the snow fall piles up un the tree branches and bends over. I also like the small specks of snow throughout the photo along with the bright white sky. The only thing i would of changed about this photo is the time i took it. If i had waited later in the day where there is alot more snow, it would have a more dramatic affect.

I am posting for 11/24. I took this picture off of Harvard square. The lighting at the time was pretty good. The picture is really clear. All the things in the picture are not too big so that it draws attention. Everything is in perfect lighting and most of the colors are in the picture is balanced.
Yifan_Urban Street
I took this photo when I was near Times Square in New York in a morning (around 7 o'clock). I like this photo because the huge "M" really stood out to me, it's a really really big Mcdonald's near a train station, and I was going to meet my friend in Mcdonald's, so I took this photo. That day was raining so the sky was still dark, but the people walked quickly and the lights were on, so it made the photo look very urban. And I like the reflection on the ground.
Ming_nature
This picture i took from the park at China during the christmas break. I like this picture a lot. I like the light reflction on the flower which make you can clear see the shadow. And the shot focus on the flower and the back get blurred. I really like this picture..
BDilbarian_urban
I chose this picture for part of my urban street assignment. It is a picture of a vintage boom box that i found in my dads old room at my grandparents house. I thought it was really cool so i took it home, and now i listen to the radio on it all the time. I set it on my floor and took the picture at an angle, which I really like. I like how you can feel the texture of the speaker and how the silver knobs reflect the light. The only thing i would change about the photo is the reflection on the tape holder and the bit of rug in the bottom right hand corner.
Saccone_Urban Street
I took this photo while working on my urban street project. This is a Candid shot of my friend while she was laughing at a photo we had just taken. I really like this because you can really feel the emotion of happiness within the photo. I also think that the black and white filter adds a great effect to the photo because her style is different from modern day clothing, so having a black and white photo with an alley blurred out in the back really makes the photo different.
Parker_Urban/street
I took this picture on in New York City on 14 street. The over exposed lights cause it to stand out and gives the entire picture a very crisp and clear look. None of the objects in the picture are taking much space and drawing attention. It also has a sense of being in a busy street.
Warr_Nature
I took this picture of my street in my neighborhood on a sunny day over summer. I really like all the different shades of green and yellow. I also like the way the street looks and the way it is in the center. But, I wish the top right corner wasn't so exposed.
james_street/urban
I took this photo over mid-year break. I chose this as my Street/Urban photo. I really like the "dead"feeling in the photo. It looks like something from a war zone. I think the writing on the bench and the fence really stands out. I think the green in the background really blocks out the buildings, so the main focus is the photo. Something that could be changed, the top right of the photo. The fence is not covering the trees.
