Saccone_Dogs Eye
This is a picture I took of my huskey while stopped at a pond on a walk. I really like the vibrance of the colors in this photo, I feel like the small bit of blurred background really helps to bring the focus on the eye. I also like the detail in the fur, you can really notice the texture of it. Another thing that I think is great about this photo is how most of it is either black or white, which makes the blue in the eye and the several different shades of green in the background really stand out.
Brown_Flowers
I took this with my Canon PowerShot A2500. I took this photo at school behind the parking lot on Wednesday. I liked this photo I took because it shows many different color contrasts of yellow, green, and red throughout the entire photograph. When I took this photo the lens had focused only on the center flower the other plants in the photo are out of focus. The details on the center flower turned out amazing on this photo. With the center only in focus and the background out of focus presents the photo with a perfect effect on the flower. This makes the viewer have a much greater appreciation towards the main flower in the center.
BDilbarian_Dog
This is a picture of my dog in my backyard. I took this shot while she decided to smell my camera. I like this picture because the grass in the background is blurry so it really focusses on my dogs nose and face. I also like how the sun shines off of my dogs nose and back.

Khan_Flowers
I like this picture because of the vivid colors. I also like the fact that the background is blurry, because it sets more of a focus on the flowers. The colors in the background are also nice because they contrast with the flowers themselves.

Correia_Shapes
This is a picture of the tiles above my fireplace. I really like how with the flash being on, it brightened the top right corner and it darkened as it went to the bottom left. I also like how the tiles in the middle of the screen are focused and how it blurs out around the edges.
Burnham-shapes
I took this picture on Wednesday night on my picnic table outside. I chose this picture for my shapes project because I really love the way the candles look together and how there are rings of circles within the candles. I also love the colors of the candles and the way they look together. I only wish that I took the table cloth off the table first because I feel like it really takes away from the photo.
Brossi_Bracelet
I took this picture Sunday afternoon. The sun wasn't so bright, so you can see all the details of the wood and the textures of the bracelet which I like. The background is interesting but not too cluttered which is something I had to work to figure out so I had to take it a few different ways. I took this in my backyard with no flash. I like the use of different lines going vertically and horizontally through the picture, but still making it have a simple look.
BDilbarian_Flowers
I took this photo in class on friday outside the back of school. It is a bunch of flowers in the little garden area. I like how you can see the many angles of the type of flower but i wish it was in focus a little bit more. I also like this photo because you can see the center of some flowers vividly. The other thing that I wish was different is the black pavement to the bottom left of the picture.
Ming_ Evening
I took this picture this afternoon with my friend, we coundn't see the sun because it hiding behind those trees. I think this photo seemed a little bit gloomy because the color was dark, and the stele made the whole picture even more gloomy.
Alex_ Shapes
I took this photo on my camera with, flash, and macro. I chose this photo for my shapes assignment because of the cool glow reflection on the diamond. I thought the focus on the top section of the diamond was very interesting, it shows a cool balance of multiple colors, shadows, and depth to it. I also liked how the whole diamond is captured in full focus, and the background is pulled out of focus. I captured this photo in my room with room lighting, and my camera flash. The flash captured high detail for my shape, within a certain range.
Yifan_ sunset
I took this photo when I walked to school with my friend this afternoon.I think this photo is beautiful, because I saw the sun sink behind the tree, and made the sky and the tree red. The sky was blue and grey, the streetlight was on so the whole picture was not really dark.
Saccone_Leaves
I'm using this photo as my first blog post because I really love the way it came out. I like that the background is blurred out, and all the focus is on the leaves. I also like the way the sun is hiding behind the leaves and bringing in a natural light.
Tree
I took this photo behind the school, next to the convent. It was taken during noon time and it was bright and sunny. I picked this photo because i like how there's a lot of different details in it. I also like how it is blurry in the front and back of the photo and how it focuses in one spot.

Brown_Shapes
I took this photo with my camera. I took this picture at school on the third floor near the library. I decided to choose this one to post because I liked the shapes in the photo. I thought the textures turned out great on this photo, the light through the glass showed a greater detail to it. I thought it was the best of my 6 shapes. It also shows the details of shapes within a shape in this picture.
Khan_Shapes
I took this photo for my shapes assignment. I like it because there is one shape that is focused on (the rectangle in the middle) and then there are several shapes surrounding it. Even though the colors are dull, they still make the picture look unique.
Warr_Leaves
This is the photo I chose for my first blog entry. This photo is of leaves on a tree behind the school, near the convent. It was a bright, sunny day. I like this photo because of the blurred back ground and the strong blue and green tones. I edited the picture to bring out these colors even more.
Bubello_Shapes
I took this photo with my camera, without flash, and using the macro setting. I took this photo for my shapes project. I really liked this photo because of the depth of feild. The middle of the photograph is much more in focus than the rest of the photo. I also really liked the contrast between the colors that really allows the reds to pop. I chose to flip thos photo upside down because I thought it would make for an overall more intersting photo.
Jordina Shapes
This is my photo of shapes. I took this shoot in my friend's house last week. I really like this photo for the contrast of gold and blue of the background, because this blue is fine and polished and gold is powerful and strong. Also I like the different tones of the color gold and all the shapes that are in the shoot; the circle of the mirror and the little circles around it and also all the parallel lines of the sunbeams.
I would like that there wasn't any reflections in the mirror because that attracts your attention over there.

Dilbarian_ circles
I took this photo in class one day outside the front door of the school. It is the mat on the ground. I like how the rain on the rubber reflects the light but I wish that it wasn't so overexposed. I also like how many circles there are and how they come together in the back of the photo. I like how it is hard to tell what it is at first and how the movement carries you throughout the photo. Lastly, i wish that there wasn't a speck of something in the middle of the circles and it wasn't so overexposed

Duchaney_Blue Flowers
I took this with my Canon Powershot SX110IS outside during class. I really like how the clear crisp focus of the front flowers in contrast to the gradually blurrier ones behind them show interesting depth. I also think the composition of the four flowers is interesting because the three around the edge sort of frame the main subject, which is itself at one of the thirds positions. However, I wish the entire background was green leaves and stems, because I think they are a much prettier color tha the dark, shadowy branches of the bush in the background.
