I liked this photo because of all the color and things going on, but now that I see it in black and white, I like the composition and I notice the lighting from the upper right hand corner a lot more.

I really like both of these pictures, but I like the original one more because of the colors. The green and blue shoelaces look as though they were almost the same color when they are in the black and white picture.
These pictures are both interesting. The different colors of the laces give the original picture more life but it is still a great picture in black and white. There are some different shades of gray in this picture and the different patterns of the shoes make it more appealing.
both photos are really good--the black and white seems to a[ppear crisper in focus and the whites are really sharp--but the wild colors in the real photo almost warrant the photo to be IN color--the coolors are so contrasts, confliting, and aweseom that the top photo is better
