this is a picture i took just this morning, when i was shocked by how incredibly blue the sky was. it seemed like a good backdrop to some tree pictures. this was taken in the morning with no flash.

I took this picture of the quarters in my friend's car because I though they looked cool all in a pile. The natural lighting gives them a enough light to make them all have different shades but it doesn't over expose them. I really like the different shades of silver against the gray back round. Taken indoors without flash.

With this picture, I tried to get a bunch of items together that had the same idea or said the same thing. This just being three I didn't really have much to go on but in the future I will try to get more collectables to make the photo have much more to look at. With these objects put together as an attire, then this would be a decent advertising photo shot but with no model... I tried to just get all of the items in a close up shot. There are also other things that I would like to say about this picture that would have made it better, but the main one is the model. What I tried to focus on was how each item was propped. Each item was given its own space to "show off" it's texture or lighting. Also as more of a technical problem I couldn't really get the pin to stay in focus with that position but I wanted it at the bottom right so as a question; Would the pin look better focused but not in a favored position, or is it better to have it set somewhere people would like?

This is a picture of a glow stick. I like how it is the only source of light in the photo. Also i like how it lights up the words on the lens cover. If i could change something, next time i would like to have more of the word illuminated. This was taken indoors without flash.

This is a playground right by my house. I like the composition of the photo and how the sings are separated by the poles of the playground.

I like this picture of Jackie because I like the highlights in her hair and the flow of the picture with the bars of the railing and her looking in that direction.

This is a picture of my roof when it snowed for like 5 minutes. I like the flow of the picture and how the squares look like they are getting smaller as they get farther away

I took this photo in Spain on our last day when we visited Gibraltar. I think this photo is very good because the monkey walking across the photo gives it good flow and the all blue background looks very nice in the photo. I think this photo looks very artsy and i took it without flash and zoomed up to the monkey a little bit.

I took this picture in my house, having my red carpet as a background. I like how clear the reflections are in the bubble. I like that the rough background of my carpet makes the clear smooth texture of the bubble stand out, drawing your eyes to this main focus.

this is another macro photo which I didn't put as a project photo. its a book which is used as a prop in the school play. it was taken with no flash on the macro setting indoors with lots of overhead lighting.

I like this photo because I think it is great light of the sun and I can see the sundown clearly. However, I think it is too dark.

This is a reflection off of a puddle of water. I like the way you can see the trees in the reflection. I also like how the edge of the water is blurry. It keeps the viewer focused on the trees. If i could change something, I would like to have better lighting. This was taken during the day, using only natural light.

I took this in black and white when I was in my room. I thought it was cool how the small strand of thread that was sticking out of the shirt was in focus rather than the shirt itself or even the button.

I took this picture yesterday in my bedroom, i put some postcard on my wall and i really love it. The color is very harmonious in this photo. I think it is a good angle to take the space.

McGarry_Burr_Thing

I took this photo while I was on the nature club trip to some nature reserve somewhere. I was still all excited about microphotography from the macromarian project, so I took this closeup of a burr of some sort. this was taken at outdoors in midday with no flash, on the macro setting.

Delmoral_Cat

This is my cat Fifi on her bed and I took this picture during sunset. I like how there is one section of my cat with light and then another section with shadows. You can see a lot of detail in her fur even in the darker, shadowy part. One thing I would do to make the picture better is move the camera a little because then her paw wouldn't look so disporportionate to her body.

I took this photo last week when the weather was warm and my dog was sun bathing. I like the shadows and the light on his face, as well as how the photo crops some of his body. If I could change something I would have included less negative space.

I took this picture of this car because I really like this car. I like how the car stands out and is very reflective against the gray brick back round. I took this picture outside without flash.

This image was taken when I went up to New Hampshire. Luckly it did snow there and I went to a dock to take photos. Field of depth is the main focus but with all of the color from the wood, or how there is not much color from wood, sets the tone to a cold, abandoned boat housing. Whether it is abandoned or not, I am not sure, but an old looking wooden building goes well with the muted colors. Also the things that I would like to hide from this photo are the twigs to the left of it; which just ruins the field of depth and the blue slide also brings color which is not needed.

This is a picture I took of the chandelier in my house. I took it lying down on the floor looking up. I really like how the light is giving off really cool patterns on the ceiling. I took this indoors no flash with the light on.
