Austin_PPT

These are two PPT images. The first one is a place. It is an intersection. I like it because it is taken from far away and from behind trees so its not so obvious that is a place and not just a bunch of dark trees. The second is a person. I took this picture of my brother. He was not expecting me to take a picture of him. It is not a portrait because he had his hand over his face in annoyance. it was taken indoors without flash.

I like how the trees are silhouetted in your first photo. I think that their silhouettes add flow to the photo as well as attention to the streetlights and the road behind them. I also like the angle that you took a photo of your brother at; from that position all the surroundings flow to the center of the photo. Both photos could have been better light, but otherwise great photos!

I like the photo of your brother. The way he is positioned in the frame and the depth of field from the raised knee are suprizingly good qualities considering this is not a posed photo. I feel, though, that it would be better if you had moved the camera just a little to the right, so that his lower leg wouldn't be cut off.
