This is a picture I took of the lightbulb inside of my lamp. I thought the lamp's glow was pretty interesting looking and I used the rule of thirds. I took this in a dark room without flash.

I really love how abstract this photo is. The wire around the light bulb adds flow to the photo, leading around the bulb. I also like how the light from the bulb is reflected onto the wire. The only thing that I would have changed is to have made the logo on the bulb in focus.
I like this photo because it has a really soft focus on the light bulb which makes it not too distracting. Also the frame around the bulb outlines the bulb and draws the attention in. The colors in this photo are really nice and they really add to the photo.
