I am posting for 4/27. I was at my cousins' house for Easter. I took this picture of one of my cousins and made some cropping to the original photo. I like how the cropping makes her more focus in. I like how my cousin is looking at the camera and how she contrast very much to the background.

I took this photo on Friday in Boston. I like it a lot because there is a big contrast in the photo: the couple sat on the seats and talked to each other, while the people on the right were still wearing winter shabby clothes in spring. Actually after the couple left one guy came to us and ask if we could give them some help, which made me feel so bad because I could tell they did not have home and really need support... I photographed the photo and I like the way how the second works.

I took this picture on Thursday.I took it at a beach at Boston with my friends.I like the post she did when i was taking this photo, and i also like her hair and cloth flying by the wind. The background is blurred. And the background looks like cut in half by the ocean.Anyway i think this is the best people photography i'd ever took.
Burnham_misc
I took this photo of some crayons that were in my room. I really all of the colors in this photo and I like how the crayons take up the whole photo. I also like how all the crayons are focused and not only some of them focused and some of them blurred out.
Morgan_Misc
I took this photo outside of a restaurant. I thought the colors looked very vibrant and spring-like. I had taken a few shots of this from different points of view but I think this one came out the best because there isn't anything unusually ugly in the photo. It's also very simple but you can still enjoy it. I also like how I captured the transformation of the seasons because you can see the greens in the grass and also the yellows from where it was covered by snow and rain a couple weeks ago.

I took this photo while i was on vacation in florida. I like these because of the angle. i also like the color saturation and the shadows cast on the ramp. I like how the focus of the photo is the water and the ramp draws your eyes from the front to the back giving the photo a sense of flow and movement. the top photo is the original and the second is slightly edited. i changed the contrast, saturation, and definition to brighten the natural colors and darken the shadows.
James-snow
The first photo is the original photo and the second is the edited photo. In the second photo the tree's really darken in color making the snow really stick out in the photo. I like the shape of the tree's and the way they open up in the mid-upper left of the photo to show the sky.
Bubello_Misc
I took this photo with my camera, without flash, and using the macro setting. I really liked this photo because of the bright orange and purple colors that really pop out. I also really liked the depth of field in this photo. The back is actually more in focus than the flower closer to the camera. I felt that it made this photo very unique.
Alex_Flower and plants
I took this photo yesterday around 5pm. I decided to choose this photo for my miscellaneous post for this week because I really like how this photo came out. I like the way the white is balanced. I like the focus of the white flower because it reflects the calm values of nature. I like the effect with the white flower is the only object in focus and the rest of the background is out of focus. I think this is a good still life photo. I like the fuzziness of the background because it creates a pattern to this photo. It also makes this photo look interesting to look at. I also like the low lighting in this photo because it makes this photo less intense and less distracting. I like the contrast between the petals of the white flower and the inner part of the flower is yellow because it makes this photo interesting. I also like the different shades of green in the background of this photo because it makes this photo interesting to look at. The second photo I choose was taken around the same time yesterday. I like the variety of colors in this photo because it makes this photo vibrant. I like the different shades of pinks, greens, purple, orange, red, and yellow in this photo, because it makes this photo look really interesting to the viewer. I like the brightness in this photo because it really catches your eyes easily. I really like the color patterns on the plants because it makes this photo look appealing and interesting to look at. I wish I could change the exposure of the left leaf in the front of this photo because it looks a little bit overexposed. I also like the lighting in this photo because you can see all of the plants amazing colorful pigments in this photo. I also like the texture of the plant's leaves because it makes this photo not boring to look at. For both of these photos I didn't use the flash, I used macro settings, auto white balance settings, manual focus adjustments, natural lighting, and with a few small exposure problems.

Teddy_Easter Basket
I took this photo during easter, it was taken in my easter basket. I chose to pick this one for post because I liked the many different variations of colors. I like the angle in which I took this photo, the jelly beans, the skittles and the other candies are in focus. It really gives the feeling of the photo as being in the category of being a wallpaper type of photo. The only thing I wish I could change would have to had the photo more crisp in quality since this one is a bit out of focus and is slightly blurry. The rest of this photo is fantastic all around, which is why I chose to use this photo for my miscellaneous post this weekend.
Dilbarian_bottle
I took this photo went i went on vacation to florida. I took this picture while on the beach. I really like this picture because the are many aspects to it. The way the sand is stuck to the bottle i think is really interesting and relatable because i always drop them in the sand which is very annoying. I also really like the water droplets on the bottle because it adds uniqueness to the bottle. I like how its on the beach because i love the beach, but i dont really like the few shells in the photo. If i was to change something in this photo i would chose the shells in the backgroungd because its kind of distracting and i would actually spin the bottle so you could see the logo without the sand on it.

Saccone_Misc
I'm posting this for the 3/2 posts. I took this photo yesterday at an Easter lunch. I really liked how this came out. I thought it looked like a picture a restaurant would use for an advertisement on a menu. I like how the picture gets more blurred the higher you go. It gives it a lot of depth. and the focus is mainly on what's in front of you.

I took this picture in public park at Boston.I really like this picture, the weather is very nice. And the sun light irradiate on the flowers wich make those flowers very beautiful. But i think i the top of the middle in the picture is not good.Anyway,i really like this picture.
Burnham_Flower
I took this photo of a flower that was in a bouquet of flowers that has been in my kitchen for a few days. I really like the colors and the lighting in this photo. I only was that the chairs in the back round were no there.
Khan_Car
I took this picture of my dads car. I tried to blur out the background more because I think it looks more unique that way. I also like the angle I took it in. If I could change one thing about it I would try to get rid of the reflection and the shine.

I took this photo (the first one) three or four days ago when I was in the Framingham train station. I like it because the clouds devided the sky into two parts which was really interesting. I added color to made it more clear (the second one) and now we can see the sky and the clouds better, and the black-and-white one I think is also nice.

James_EYE
This photo is a photo from one of my Marian Macro projects. I took this photo on the bottom floor of Marian. This photo was taken right next to the Art room. This is a students artwork that was on display along with other pieces of work. I like this drawing the most because of the eye to the right of the photo. I really like the blue around the pupil. The lines throughout photo really add character to the eye also.
Bubello_Misc
I took this photo using my camera without flash. I liked this photo because the sign is directly in the center. I also really liked all the small trees surrounding the sign, which I believe really add to the photo. I love that this photo has a "rustic" feel which makes it unique.
Sara_ tiger
I took this photo while shooting for the macro marian assignment. I like this photo because of it angle and depth of field. i cropped and saturated the photo to increase the contrast between the white board and black ink.
Alex_ Marian Macro flowers
I decided to choose this photo for my post this sunday from the Marian macro assignment because I thought this photo was one of my favorites of the macro Marian assignment. I like the angle I took this photo. I also like the vibrant purple flowers because it really draws your attention to this photo. I also like the macro effect because it makes this photo look interesting to the viewer. I also like the framing of this photo because it makes the photo stand out in a unique way. I also like the lighting for this photo because you can see all of the amazing features of nature in this photo. I also like the effect with the flowers in almost complete focus and the mulch surrounding the flowers are not really in focus because it adds depth to this photo. I also like the edited version because you can see a vignette-like effect around the corners of the photo. I also like the original photo because of the bright green stems because it makes this photo catch your eye also. I also like the bottom photo because it creates a black & white color still life effect to this photo. I also like the contrast in the edited version because it makes this photo have a nice contrast between the front flower stems which were light green in the original but are grey in the edited version compared to the back stems of the flowers which were slightly darker green in the original. The edited version in black and white makes the photo have a dark black shade which adds a good contrast between them. I also like the calmness of this photo because it isn't an intense photo. I think the contrast, lighting and variety of color makes this photo very important because without some of these features this photo wouldn't look as great as they are right now. I took this photo outside of Marian as part of the Marian macro assignment in natural lighting, without flash. I used macro, soft-snap focus adjustments, and auto iso in the original photo. In the edited photo I used Picasa for the edited one using the black and white effect, holga-ish effect, and warmify in the edited photo.
Teddy_Marian Door Handle
I took this photo at school when I was shooting photos for the Marian Macro photo assignment. I really like the feeling of the photo. I like the angle the of what I took the photo which really makes it a really great and interesting photo. I took this photo of the left gym exit door. I like it how the background is blurred out and that the door handle is in complete focus it really makes it an interesting photo to the viewer. I liked this photo so much that I decided that I would make an edited version of it to make it look more natural and antique. I edited it using the macintosh application called iPhoto I darkened it and used the sepia mode to bring out some of the corners and details of the photo. I think with the edited version it really makes it a really good photo. I don't think I would have changed anything in this photo because the way I took it couldn't have been any better than this one.
