This is a picture I took while I was biking home from church. I saw the empty carton lying there, and I thought it would make for an alright picture. This was taken at midday with no flash.

I like the angle of this photo and how the grass at the top of the photo adds to the flow of the concrete. I also like how the carton was not placed in the middle of the photo. I might have included less negative space of the sidewalk but otherwise I think it's an interesting photo!

The irony of the photo with the Ronald icon throwing away the trash in the garbage was probably what gave my attention to it but I'm guessing you didn't notice it. The picture itself, with the lighting and shadows from the lighting, just highlights the trash that was thrown off to the side walk. How the trash is postioned with the words upside down for the top of the box and the nutrition facts being only readible makes sure that the photo is showing the idea that this is trash and is not being used for advertisement.

Thanks for the commentary, guys! 'm glad you (Trevor) noticed how it was placed facing away from the camera. I didn't notice the image of Ronald throwing trash away, but you're right, it does add to the photo! My original plan was to use the negative space to highlight the trash, but now I think you're right, Emelia - it does detract from the photo. Thanks!
