Bubello_Vase


I took this photo in my home without flash and using the macro setting. I really liked the clarity of the bubbles on the glass of the vase. I also liked how only one of the stems is bright green, unlike the others. I decided to enhance this photo because I thought it was much too dark. Although that caused part of the vase to be overexposed, I really liked this photo overall.

I like the idea of this photo. I think capturing the stem of a flower while it was immersed in water was a good idea. However I would have cropped the photo so you could only see the vase, and you couldnt see the edges. I also would have added brighter lighting and picked a less distracting background.

I like this photo because it was not taken in the typical way you would see a base on a table. I like the enhanced photo because of its brightness and I like the highlight on the wood from the light and how it shows very clearly through the glass and water.
