This is the picture of cards that I took from my desk. I like this picture because I like the way the card spread neatly and I like the focusing at the middle and the focusing blurs out from the middle. The critical point in this picture is, obviously, there are so many distraction behind the object. I should take out of the books behind the card. Beside the fact, I like this picture.

I do agree, the background is distracting and the lamp light isn't as flattering as it could be. However, I find it amazing how clearly focused the main subject is, especially the Bicycle card box compared to the boxes right behind it.
I like this photo and how the cards are positioned. I jus think the background is distracting and has too much going on. I think you should of put the same color blanket in the background to block the view of the other distracting objects.
To be a better photographer, I should have not be lazy to take another picture for better quality.
