Flower Bud_Ricky Xiang

I took this photo on the snow day, the snow on the flower bud makes this picture even better, and the bud really stand out from the background.

Sunday, March 4

This is a really cool picture I took of my keys after i froze them. The ice gives them a really cool effect. The bubbles add extra dimension to the image. Taken indoors, without flash and without zoom.

Bache_Guitar

This is a picture of my guitar strings; I like the angle from which this is shot because viewing the picture as a whole, you can't quite tell what it is.

Austin_PPT

These are two PPT images. The first one is a place. It is an intersection. I like it because it is taken from far away and from behind trees so its not so obvious that is a place and not just a bunch of dark trees. The second is a person. I took this picture of my brother. He was not expecting me to take a picture of him. It is not a portrait because he had his hand over his face in annoyance. it was taken indoors without flash.

Rabinowitz_Tree

This is a picture of a tree in my backyard. I took this during the snowstorm we had last week. I like this photo because of the fine detail of all the branches. Everything was in crisp, clear focus. The new fallen snow gives this picture a nice feeling.

Yulu_Cattie

This is my pet, cattie. I took this one in my dinning room without flash. There has a little bit light.i love this one because the cattie's eyes, it's really pretty.

Delmoral_Skittles

This is a picture I took of some skittles coming out of a bag and onto my dining room table. I thought it would be fun to play around with them and make the trail come out of the bag as a curve. I took this without flash and indoors.

Jimin_tree

I like this photo about the very clear focus and I think the tree has great shadow. I tried that put the main subject on the center because if I put it on the side, you can see the background clearly.

Wang_candy

This is one og my macro photo, I took it about two weeks ago. I likr the color of the picture.

Wang_footprint

I took this picture at Friday after the snow stop. The footprint in the picture is my own.

Warzewska_Chosen One

I took this photo of my dog outside this morning. Even though there is a lot of negative space, I think it adds to the photo because your attention is drawn to the right side. I also like the flow from the hands to the head of my dog. If I could change something I might have cropped out more negative space. (Taken on 1/320 sec. exposure, ISO 200, no flash)

McGarry_Bush

I took this picture of one of the bushes outside of marian, shortly after the snow. I like the contrasting green and black. this was taken outdoors on an overcast day with no flash.

Barbieri_Chains

This is a picture I took of a bunch of necklaces I have. I like that all of the chains are different colors and that they complement each other. Also I like that there are two of the hooks that are sorta of next to each other but they are different sizes. Another thing is that they take up most of the picture so there is not much negative space. This was taken indoors, no flash.

JackEgizi_Misc.

I took this photo in Spain of Pauly and Lizzie. I thought it was a great portrait because the background is so cool. I love the focus on Pauly and Lizzie who are the main subject and how the people in the background are in a blur from walking. I think it really provides the city effect to the photo as it shows a bunch of people doing their own thing. It looks like Pauly and Lizzie are in a blur. I took it without flash and used the street lights. I think it makes their skin look good.

JackEgizi_personplace

This photo(bottom) is my place photo I thought it was a good place because although it shows a landscape there are people in it doing all different things. This photo (top) is my person photo because it has people in it but they are looking at the camera and they are all walking. it is not a staged shot.(forgot to post these last week)

Truck_Jules

This is a picture of the dash board and steering wheel of an old truck. I like how the middle of the steering wheel is in focus and the dash is out of focus. I also like the highlights in the picture. This was taken on the macro setting with no flash.

chen_ water-drop

I took this picture yesterday in my barthroom. I turned all the lights off so I can keep my room dark. I was using a long exposure so I can have enough time to wait till the water drops and open the flash. Info: NIKON D90 [105mm F2.8] F18.0 3s ISO200

Chan_Misc.

I took this picture after it snowed last week. I like how the picture is slightly out of focus to give the flower a "soft" feeling. however, if the picture had a sharper focus, I think you would be able to see more details in the snow. Also, I like how the close the flower is. It lets you see some of the details in the petals. This was taken outdoors on manual without flash.

Jimin_PPT

these pictures are in Canada and Cambodia. I went Cambodia for volunteer survive during the winter vacation. I like these photo because the great movement and great focus. I think there are good camera angle too.

Chen_ PPT

Those pictures were took in LA. The first picture i took is a guy singing on the beach, the second picture is a mother helping her kids look through the telecope, the third picture is a group of Chinese travellers taking pictures together.

Rabinowitz_PPT

Person: The person in this photo is my sister. She is riding her scooter at the skate park at the end of my street. I like how I got her in crisp focus while the background is in motion.

Place: The place is Milford Town Park Baseball Field. I tried to capture both the field and the bleachers in one frame. I like how the bleachers fade off into the distance.

Thing: This photo is of a row of grocery carriages. I like the angle of this shot and how it almost appears to be black and white. The silver carriages stand out against the grayness of the background.
