I took this photo in my backyard without flash and using the macro setting. I really liked this photo because of the detail of the tennis ball. I also liked the depth of field in this photo. The ball is very clear in focus and the snow is slightly out of focus. I also enjoyed the contrast between the yellow of the ball and the white of the snow that really allows for the tennis ball to jump out.

What I like about this photo are the details in the snow and the textures on te tennis ball. I like how certain parts of the snow are out of focus. I also like how close-up this photo is because there is no distracting background.
Thanks Morgan! I also thought that the background really made for a less distracting photo. If I removed some of the dirt from the tennis ball, I think that the photo may have been even less distracting. I agree that since this photo is so close up that It creates for a much less distracting background than if I shot the ball from farther away.
