I took this picture over break when there was some snow outside which is why outside there is a lot of white light coming through. I took this picture with the macro setting so that I could be really close to the object and have most of the picture in focus. For example, I like how you can see the blades on the shade and little details in the cord.

I like your picture! I like the highlights that you can see in the upper right hand corner and the details you can see in the shade. Although, the picture is very overexposed. It really grabs your attention away from the rope. If you caught this photo from a different angle it would be much less overexposed and you could try to catch more details in the rope. This would make for a much less distracting photo.
